"Generally and considering the low cost, I was pleased with the outcome but there were a couple of things worth mentioning. The finish on the bronze was not even. I dont know if there had been a problem but the ‘belly’ of the figure was overworked so that in contrast to the rest of the piece none of the tool marks on the wax were any longer visible. This leaves this region looking very flat in comparison. Second there was a ‘sputter’ of bronze between the fingers on one hand, not on the original, that I have had to grind off - I haven’t yet worked out how to patinate this small area to match."
